How it works

Put five Waves plugins on your vocal

F6, CLA-2A, Renaissance Vox, Vocal Rider, SSL E-Channel.

Pick a chain

Load the preset with that name in every plugin.

Adjust to suit your singer

You have a finished vocal chain in under a minute.

The chains

Chart Topper

Male Pop Lead

A bright, upfront male pop lead that sits on top of a busy track.

Top Line

Female Pop Lead

A polished female pop lead: clean low end, softer nasal area and lots of air.

Bars

Rap Lead

A dense, in-your-face rap lead that holds its level through every line.

Auto Pilot

Melodic Rap

For tuned, melodic rap vocals. Tames the harsh edge tuning adds, then opens up the top.

Satin

RnB Lead

A smooth, warm RnB lead with a silky top end and gentle control.

Front Man

Rock Lead

A rock lead with bite that cuts through loud guitars, with a gate for spill between lines.

Close Up

Intimate Acoustic

For close, quiet, singer-songwriter vocals. Controls boom and keeps it natural.

Questions, answered

Do I need the Waves subscription?

You need the seven plugins listed above. They all come with the Waves subscription, or you can own them on their own.

How do I load the presets?

In each plugin, open the preset menu at the top, choose Load, and pick the file from that plugin's folder in the pack.

Will the delays be in time with my song?

The Quarter Throw, Dotted Throw and Wide Ping Pong follow your DAW's tempo. The Slap Back is a fixed short delay.

Why are the delays and reverbs 100% wet?

They're made for an aux send. Turn the send up until you just hear them.

Does it work in Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton and the rest?

Yes, any DAW that runs Waves plugins, on Mac or PC.
